The following information is intended to offer guidance regarding events hosted by the Rays at their residence or on campus. Generally, events hosted on campus are managed by Shelly Signs, Director of University Events.

Events hosted by President and Beth Ray at their Residence --
If you wish to respond to or have a question about an invitation, please contact Shelly Signs (phone: 737-0724; e-mail: shelly.signs@oregonstate.edu). If Shelly is not available when you call, you may leave her a voicemail message, or send her an e-mail, including the following details:

  • your name and telephone number
  • your response to the invitation and the date of the event
  • the name of your guest, if you plan to bring one
  • if you have a question, please indicate what it is

Please note that on the day of an event, Shelly checks her voicemail for responses and last minute changes. Please also note that it is most appropriate and courteous to let Shelly know of any change in your plans before the event takes place.
